These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of products and services provided by Imitate Labs.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Overview

Imitate Labs provides AI-powered products and services, including AI-based video editing tools, interactive AI avatar and smart display systems, and cloud-based AI services.

2. Eligibility & Authorized Use

You may use our services if you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, or if you are using the services under supervision of a parent, guardian, or authorized educational institution.

3. Accounts & Access

  • Some services may require account creation
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account

4. User Content & Responsibility

Users may provide content including text, audio, video, images, prompts, or persona data. You represent that you own the content or have lawful permission to use it.

5. Permission to Process User Content

Users retain ownership. By using the services, you grant Imitate Labs a limited, non-exclusive permission to process content only as necessary to provide the services.

6. Avatar, Persona & Likeness Use

  • You must have rights or consent to use any real person's likeness
  • You will not impersonate living individuals without authorization
  • You will not use the services for deception, fraud, or misrepresentation

7. AI-Generated Output Disclaimer

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or fictional. Use at your own discretion and risk.

8. Educational & Child Use

Parents, guardians, or institutions are responsible for obtaining consent and supervising appropriate usage.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform components are owned by Imitate Labs. Users retain ownership of their original content.

10. Prohibited Uses

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload or generate illegal, abusive, or harmful content
  • Reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the services
  • Use the services for surveillance, manipulation, or misinformation

11-13. Third-Party, Availability & Termination

Services are provided “as available.” We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to mitigate risks.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Imitate Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Imitate Labs from claims arising out of your User Content, misuse, or violations.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India shall have jurisdiction.
